Williams Valley High School had its sixth annual car show on July 19, 2008.
Williams Valley School District lives right in the heart of our largest division of active members. Covering the Williamstown and Tower City areas, as well as the same areas the "Small Block" Circuit Saturday cruise was developed, it is just a given that the event would be crawling with Garage Club members and their rides. This event was a fund raiser for the athletics department and this year was their largest turnout yet at approximately 180 cars on the field. Like most shows, the cars were absolutely captivating. Even though the Garage Club is more about driving the cars than showing them, there was something here everyone would enjoy.
On top of all this going on, there were even two sets of entertainment going on. All day they had a DJ spinning tunes and annnouncing the literally hundreds of door prizes. Later they had Brad Crum, the areas premier Elvis impersonator put on a show. There were plenty of cool drinks for us to survive the hot day. There were three places of awards for each class and competition was stiff in every one.

All in all, it was a fun day to relax and socialize with a lot of car buffs who appreciated every vehicle attending. Held every mid July, watch for the event next year. Click any image for larger sized view.
