Williams Valley High School had its fourth annual car show on July 15, 2006.
Welcome to the Keystone
Garage Club Website and my amateur review of Williams Valley's
fourth annual car show held at the Jr./Sr. High School. 89 cars were entered into
the event that was designated to support the sports program's new fitness center.
Vehicles were then judged by the spectators and car owners to decide who took home
trophy plaques. Owners were not allowed to vote on their own classes, making the
judging much less biased. There were a few vendors who took advantage of the event
to sell their wares. There was entertainment provided by DJ Smokin' Joe and an Elvis
impersonator. There were refreshments available all day, as well as door prizes.
I believe there were enough door prizes for nearly every vehicle owner.

Since I work as one of the bus drivers for the school and the car
show was started to benefit the new fitness center, I decided to enter three of my
toys pictured above this paragraph. My 1936 De Soto Airstream, my 1971 Olds, and my 2001 MR2 Spyder did very well in the judged event.
I got two firsts and a third (for the De Soto).
There were many well restored and customized vehicles that deserved plaques. Browse
these images to see the quality machines on display in the field in in front of the
High School and new fitness center. |
