CLUB LEGENDS:
by Chris Ives (02-15-2005)

"Tom was a very dear friend, not only to me but to many. I can still hear his laugh when the topic of fast cars comes up in heated conversations. Toms presence is oh so near anytime club members gather. The stories he told will live as long as we are still around and most likely beyond. He was the highlight of every event I ever attended. Be it SPEEDZONE where he dominated the indoor oval or club meetings where his tales of bizarre happenings held every ones ears at bay for hours.

Very few can compare in our circle of the automobile enthusiasts as Tom. He was extremely intelligent and learned the ways of making things go fast through technology along with trial and error. He was always there to help a friend when the need arose. Traveling literally hundreds of miles to assist a stranded buddy or pull many an 'all nighter' so others can race the next day.

I can still recall the first time I met Tom. A young brash kid with a quest for fun, companionship & speed. I raced him many a time at various places. And if I won, his determination would always end up getting the better of me by improving on what he had and not accepting defeat. Granted, I owned more rides then him, but his were always faster by far. That was Tom, may we always remember a TRUE LEGEND!"
