I saw one of these bracket sets at www.spyderchat.com.

Spyderchat member and Toyota parts man, Steve Ganz at Carson Toyota in California, had a group buy for Postert brand items. These brackets were included in the items available for import.

The price seemed reasonable and I needed to store the Hard Top during the summer months, so I ordered one.

Please email me if you want to see any pic in larger size.
Postert Wall Mount Brackets

First the directions were sketchy, so I needed to measure the top bracket width. Center to center of the rearward latches is where you need to measure.

Once again, I needed center to center. In inches it came out to be 48 1/2 inches. That told me to mount the wall hanging brackets at 48 1/2 inches to their center as well.

Both wall plates were screwed fast with framing screws at a centered measurement of 48 1/2 inches. The brackets after they are fastened and adjusted to the top, hook right in these.

At that distance apart, they allowed the bottom of the bracket to line up perfectly with the wall stud where the lower portion needs to rest.

This shows the entire bracket on one side. first latch the bottom latch to the bracket same as on the car. Then the upper adjustment can be tightened to the rear hook on the hard top for a nice solid fit. Once the brackets are fastened to the top, just lift it up an the hooks on the brackets fit right in the wall plates.

Once you lift the top on to the wall brackets, it slides right into place. The front of the hard top stands away from the wall

another outside view of the wall plate and hooked bracket.

Here are some finished pictures . Makes more room in my garage, but I still need more for the Spyder. Have to get my new garage plans in the works.
