| Pine Grove School District lies right in the heart of our club area.
We heard they were starting up a car show. The weather forecast was for a nice day,
but it was aweful cloudy and damp in the morning. This, an early morning time slot,
another (larger) event which was scheduled for the same day, and only a minor push
to advertise the show hurt it's turnout. There were some nice rides that showed up
and everyone got to chat in detail about them. It turned out to be a very nice morning
and pretty much everyone left with an award and certificate of appreciation. 3 GC
members were there including Melissa and I, as well as Bill Schoffstall. Below you
can see some pics of the cars that came to the event with a few detail pics of my
cousin's mirror finish '67 Lincoln Continental Convertible he just finished restoring. Hopefully, if they try it again next year, we can help make it a larger draw. |
