Primarily held around the first weekend in October, we happened accross
this event by accident. We heard about the craft show and decided to take the Olds
for a ride since the weather was nice. We entered the parking lot and were directed
to a roped area at the very front of the lot.
As always, if you wish to have the full resolution photo of any image, please Email us at Garage_Club@comcast.net and we will forward it to you. If I missed your car, I appologize, but
vehicles were coming and going all day making it tough to get them all. Here are
some samples of the cool rides that were there:

Sunday, October 7th was the Covered Bridge Festival at Knoebels Grove.
Primarily held around the first weekend in October, the park is opened to host a
large craft fair. What does that have to do with the Garage Club? Even if you are
just going for the food, crafts, rides, or covered bridge tour, bring your classic
ride. You will get a premium parking spot and be able to show it off in the process. |

Three Garage Club members showed up at the event including Denny and
Melissa Aungst in the '30 Plymouth from Pine Grove, Bob Boretski in his '71 SS Chevelle
402 out of Hazelton, and Robert Holtzman out of Halifax in his '57 Chevy Belair.
It was a very nice day and Dash plaques are given to everyone even though there is
no entry fee.
We were stopped a few times by people because Melissa wore her new Garage Club T-shirt.
One was Dev's girl, Alex, who saw the T-shirt and had to chat a bit while introducing
us to their new baby. Other's were people who were on various Circuit Saturday cruises
and had to ask us questions or compliment on how cool they were. One happened to
park along side us in the '30 with his Cobra kit car. He is looking forward to attending
more cruise routes next year. He even helped me pull the seats out of the Plymouth
when I lost my keys. All in all, it turned out to be another fun and relaxing day
out cruising in the country. |
