A large class of vintage Super Stockers showed, Three Nostalgia funny cars, and quite a few legends of "the day". Bob ran his usual classes but with the added exhibition classes. Flashback Bill even started the exhibition classes via flag starts like the old days. Cool! The crowd was pretty good, but not a match for the York US 30 reunion show. "Flashback" Bill Stuck steered us to his beer filled truck to get the after party started early. (Thanks Bill!) Beaver Bob was everywhere at once! If you wanted to speak with him it better would have been one word and a short one at that... He was busy giving us the quality show we have come to expect from him. He brought out all the legends to introduce them to the crowd and cruise them down the track in convertibles. Over ten GC members showed and even though the tent or banner wasn't there, we found each other under the tower by Bill's rat rod to hang out and chat. Isn't it great to be a GC member! Bob steered me up in the tower and a couple other cool places to film, and the guys got to hang with Bruce Larson and some of the other legends. (I missed that while getting in trouble for some little blonde hopping on my Harley. Oh well, at least I got a picture!) See all the pics & some captions from this event by clicking here. We were sure to stop in and pick up a couple pics from the Membership Drive back in June. He has everything right there! Want the story on these two pics? This girl was in the truck to the right. I thought it was a cool truck like I want to build to pull my trailer. Anyway, I stopped and took a picture. After which she came over to check out my Harley and have a seat while she catted with me during the time I filmed the Funny Cars and Super Stockers.(She took a club card and thought it was cool.
