What you see here is an ALL ORIGINAL, unrestored '70 1/2 L78 Camaro.

This car retains the original Copper paint, tires, interior, exhaust, glass, window sticker, order form, and protect-o-plate. Eric's research provided the following information.

The car was ordered in August 1969. The order was actually for an LS6 454/450 hp car. Due to a strike by Chevrolet, what was delivered to Dan McCarthy, the original owner, in May 1970 was a 396 / 375 hp Camaro. It also has an M-20 Muncie and 4:10 positraction rear gears.

The car was occasionally driven until 1972, when it was taken of the road to drag race full time. It was then retired in 1985 and garage kept until it was purchased by Eric. The car was purchased by Eric in 1998, and due to it's original condition, he just reinstalled the original street parts rather that restoring the car.

This is a very nice example of a low mileage, near perfect condition, "barn find" thatwe all wish we could happen upon.

All information can be seen on Eric's show plaque pictured on this page.
