Doug's ride is a '64 Pontiac GTO that is powered by
a 490 big block Chevy. (Yep, I do mean that it is Chervrolet powered.) The engine
is backed by a 5 speed.
Here is Doug up at Beaver. The second picture was taken at a track rental.
This GTO cuts a 1.71 second, 60 foot time and he has a few tricks planned to wake
it up a little more. Very nice ride, Doug. Can't wait to get up to Beaver sometime
and see it in action.
Doug states,"Anybody from the club (dues paid up) will get
a 25 cent per pound discount on Nitrous. That said ,it would only cost them 3.50
per pound and the mutliple bottle discount (10%) and 1 free after 10 still applies.
