MDA:
Pics from the Dairy Queen in Palmyra ---> 3-28-2008
This event was put on by the Lebanon Country Cruisers. They have no
entry fee besides what you wanted to give towards the designated charity of the event.
This event benefitted the MDA charity. You could tell everyone was chomping at the
bit to get their rides out since the Dairy Queen's parking lot filled quickly and
the overflow began parking on the lot to the restaurant next door as well as the
Palmyra Theater parking lot. There were quite a few nice rides from all original
'30s coupes and street rods to every brand of muscle car. The Country Cruisers had
speakers set up and were playing cruisin' music while they had a refreshment table
up to serve from the grill and crock pots. (That Dairy Queen only sells ice cream.)
There were a few Garage Club members who showed including Moe and
Linda Garrison with their nice '69 Firebird, Bill Schoffstall & Dom Zeiders
in Bill's cool 390 powered Pro Street F100, Denny and Melissa in thier '71 Olds,
Matt and Karen Doyle in their Dodge Aspen, Jason Sweinhart brought his retro custom
'57 Chevy 210, and Glen Sweinhart with his '68 Chevelle SS396. (If you were there
and I somehow missed you, please email us and let me know so I can addd your name.)
We all even had our GC jackets and not one of us was taken out back and beaten by
the Country Cruiser crowd!
Enjoy all of the rest oif my pictures below:
