Chris' idea for a monthly Saturday night, Circuit Saturday's Small Block Circuit happens each FOURTH Saturday of the month. Show up at any time or any place on the map and join in.
Watch for additional routes as they are added to the website. The plan for this idea is to be able to cruise somewhere on any given Saturday night. Come and join us!

’09 Camaro appears on the May Small Block Circuit Saturday cruise:

As we were leaving the second stop we started having some issues for the evening. First, Brent Jenkins had his Corvette’s starter quit, but luckily he had a 4-speed and was able to be bumped. The next problem happened just as we entered Elizabethville as Butch Hechler’s Mustang lost a transmission and had to be pushed off the road. After several calls and two state police visits, Butch found a trailer to get it home, then rejoined us later at Gratz.
Once Marlie Whitcomb and I got going we arrived at Halifax just in time to get a couple pics and a drink, then off we went again. It was a short lived ride for us again. We saw Kerry Teter’s Camaro coast off to the side of the road after a backfire. Turns out he needed a distributor as his MSD box took a dive. As luck would have it, he had a “points” distributor in his trunk and even left the original wiring taped inside the harness. Some quick wrenching, another curious state police stop, and the distributor was replaced, wired up, and ready to crank. We thought that’s what fixed it, but were informed later that the young lady riding with him crossed both her fingers while we worked on it. That’s the ticket. The last problem was a small one as my camera went dead. That left me unable to grab pics after the session with Kerry’s Camaro.

Back on the road we finally got to the Millersburg stop as the group was pulling out. We just cruised on by and continued to the final stop at the Boardwalk. It paid off as we were the first to roll in and got our ice cream right away. I guess we earned it that night! The guys hung out till at least 10:00 pm and we had someone put down a small burnout. That prompted several who weren’t with us to go out and give it a shot. It stayed mild and hopefully we didn’t disturb the neighboring Gratz citizens. Maybe we’ll have to make a mention of it next month to keep it legal. We wouldn’t want an issue. All in all, another great cruise.
