Chris' idea for a monthly Saturday night, Circuit Saturday's Small Block Circuit happens each fourth Saturday of the month. Show up at any time or any place on the map and join in.

Watch for additional routes as they are added to the website. The plan for this idea is to be able to cruise somewhere on any given Saturday night. Come and join us!

Pics from the Small Block Circuit Saturday ---> 4-26-2008
This month's "Small Block" route was the second "Small Block"event this year. This first had a good turnout, but I wasn't there to document the event. The "Small Block" Circuit is always the Garage Club's large cruise event. For some reason, these guys are the die hard cruisers. There was a forcast of 70% chance of thunderstorms and still we had over 30 cars show. Not just cars, though, They brought out the cool cars, the ones you would think never see rain.
The cruise started out with beautiful weather. It was great to see the gang again after the long cruise-less winter months. Even with the high gas prices, everyone was itching to get the rides out for a fun evening of head turning and boy did they. To see that long string of cars coming into the Lykens red light was a real sight.

We had some of the new members show up and get themselves introduced. We even recruited a new member at the event. Heck, there was even a four legged friend trying out for the club mascot spot! We also had a very generous member buy ice cream sundays for everyone at the second stop (in Mc Donalds). Thanks, that was very cool and just another reason we have such a great club.

Most members were either in club T-shirts or club jackets and it really looked cool. At a couple of the stops we had people roll in just to check out the cars. They also said the jackets were very nice. Definitely a great idea Doug!

The fun was cut short, however, when those forecasted thunderstorms finally showed up in Millersburg. We all chatted under the roof for a while, then went our seperate ways missing the last stop. Next month we'll hit the boardwalk!
