Pine Grove Children's Aid car show turnout hurt due to storm
forecast:
| Welcome to the Keystone
Garage Club Website. We had a few members show up at the
show this year so I thought I would take some shots from the show for the site. Organized
by Charlie and Judy Zimmerman, this show usually has quite a turnout. It's located
behind the North End Fire Company on North Tulpehocken St in Pine Grove. This show's
proceeds benefit the "Children's Aid" charity. There are trophies awarded
in each class, while entertainment was provided by Flamin' Dick and the Hot Rods.
There plenty of good things to eat and drink. There was also a chinese auction going
on as well. |

Rain fell all around Pine Grove but not a drop landed on the show.
This killed the normally huge turnout for the annual Pine Grove Children's Aid fund
raiser. It actually turned out to be a really nice day to hang out, enjoy cold drinks
and grilled goodies, and listen to "Flaming Dick and the Hot Rods" play
some 50's tunes. Only 4 garage club members showed cars at this event. Hopefully
next year will be a larger take for the charity. Keep in mind, no burnouts at this
event as the police were hiding around the corner to ticket everyone who used the
throttle pedal with too much enthusiasm. Enjoy the pictures, I'll let them speak
for themselves.
