Chris' idea for a monthly Saturday night, Circuit Saturday's Big Block Circuit happens each first Saturday of the month. Show up at any time or any place on the map and join in.

Watch for additional routes as they are added to the website. The plan for this idea is to be able to cruise somewhere on any given Saturday night. Come and join us!

Pics from the Big Block Circuit Saturday ---> 9-08-2007
This month's "Big Block" route started out slow with only the four of us showing up at the first stop. "Why was that?", you asked. Well it poured down raining around the area. The forecast didn't call for much better. Ed & Craig Wassel, Derek Griffiths, Andy Lefever, and I showed in our daily drivers, well, except for Wassell, who brought his Monza. Upon showing up in Frackville we picked up three more cars including Rob Lefever, Dave Lehr, Melvie Reichart, and Koch. Then Chris Ives Jesse Abdo and met us in Shenandoa. Now the cruise was looking better even if it was only our daily drivers.
We got to Danny's and had our usual Ice cream and shakes. After hanging at Danny's for a while Ed Wassell invited me to make a quick stop by the dealership where he works. Paul Chevrolet is right around the corner from Danny's so I went with him. He showed us some restorations he was working on including a '69 Camaro Z28 that was getting a 100 point restoration to be sold at Barrett Jackson. Apparently this will be the fourth he has sold there. Afterwards, we caught up to the rest at May's.

We lost a couple cars after May's, but a group came to cruise with us after Mt Carmel. It included a 350Z, a BMX 325, and a RX8. They expected more to show, but we explained that the weather hurt us. They finished the rest of the cruise with us and we left Shamokin after 11 PM. All in all, it turned out to be another fun night, even with our "slow" cars.
