Chris' idea for a monthly Saturday night, Circuit Saturday's Big Block Circuit happens each first Saturday of the month. Show up at any time or any place on the map and join in.

Watch for additional routes as they are added to the website. The plan for this idea is to be able to cruise somewhere on any given Saturday night. Come and join us!

Pics from the Big Block Circuit Saturday ---> 8-14-2007
The "Big Block" route had a plus for the month of August. This event was held the weekend of the big Pottsville Cruise. With all the events going on, cruisers from all over the country saw us making rounds on the route and hopped in at places. We had a couple in a red '56 Chevy big block pro-streeter show from Maryland. Check out the pics to see that he had a "Long" shifter and 6 speed transmission in the car.
Highlights included Jim Zerbe's '57 Chevy sporting a new engine. Joe Difalco's new '55 wagon with air ride showed how cool a family car can be. Kerry Moyer smoked some mustang who was doing some provoking in Shamokin. Adam Bernodin left the cop car at home to run a "Blue Dukes" '69 Charger. Bob Boretski came back down from Hazelton and joined the club in his nice stripe delete '71 402 cube SS Chevelle. Tiff Tankalavage got stopped for a ticket in her "Dad's" car. (Ask her what the cop said sometime about girls and cars.) A "herd" of nice Mustangs rolled in together. The green paint on the road runner was that bright, I don't think he needed headlights at night. I'd also like to mention the fact that there are quite a few of the children showing up and actually enjoying themselves, making it a family event as well. Hopefully, some day, this type of thing will instill the urge to carry on the classic car hobbies after we are gone!
