Chris' idea for a monthly Saturday night, Circuit Saturday's Big
Block Circuit happens each second Saturday of the month. Show up at any time or any
place on the map and join in.
Watch for additional routes as they are added to the website. The plan for this idea
is to be able to cruise somewhere on any given Saturday night. Come and join us!

The first large turnout for the Big Block circuit happened this month.
With such a large attendance, we drew a lot of attention. People came running out
of their houses to check out all the cool rides rumbling through their town. AT several
stops, people came in and checked out the cars to ask us questions. It was like a
rolling car show and not one complaint from anyone for filling up all the parking.
Derek Griffith showed in his '94 Pontiac Firebird. Moe and Linda Garrison
brought their '69 Firebird. Dev Trexler and Alex brought the orange tow truck this
time. Chris Ives brought his "parts hauling" 442 Warwagon since he broke
the Yenko clone at Beaver Thursday. Melissa & I brought the Olds again. Doug
and Debbie Garrison brought the '56 Olds cruiser. John Kiscadden and his wife made
the circuit in their Prowler. Jason Sweinhart came in a '60 Chevy. Marly & Michelle
Whitcomb brought their '72 SS Chevelle after working till after 3:00 to finish installing
a floor and seat belts. Glen Sweinhart brought his nice '68 Chevelle SS396. Jim and
Jill Zerbe brought their '57 Chevy. Kerry Moyer had his blue '69 RS Camaro.
Matt Doyle and his wife Karen brought their slant six Aspen while
his son, Tom brought the Dodge Mirada that he won at Chryslers at Carlisle. John
Iacaboe Brought a stout big block '79 Chevy Malibu. Andy lefever brought his Buick
cruiser while his Dad, Rob, showed up at Danny's in Andy's Dakota. Eric Erb brought
out his mean sounding '69 Camaro that is signed by Bill Jenkins. Bob Borotski from
Hazelton happened across our website and brought his '71 stripe delete Chevelle SS
to cruise with us. There also was a Pontiac G6 in the group driven by Doug Garrison's
sister Judy. There were two very cool sounding Ram Air Firebirds that were driven
by Jason and Steve. (Sorry, I missed your last names.) One came in from Williamsport
and the other was from the Hegins area. (If I missed anyone else, I appologize, just
let me know and I'll add you.)
The weather waas perfect which made for many cool cars to be out and
about. We saw a '50 Chevy, a '67 Chevelle, a couple '69 and '70 Chevelles, cruising
through Shenandoah. There was a nice '57 Chevy cruised past May's while we were there
and a cool street rod truck parked across the street.
Chris arranged some two lane cruising through Mount Carmel to tantalize
the local kids who were hanging out while Moe and Linda were giving out some stuff
they brought from the Good Guys event. (Thanks!) By the time we entered Shamokin,
we were down to about ten cars, but we still cruised and hung out till about 11:30.
Marly and Michelle Whicomb's son Hunter and Jim and Jill Zerbe's son James kept us
all entertained with their antics. Kerry got a challenge to a street race from a
local newer Camaro that was showing off a bit for our crew. He wisely declined even
though I am sure he could have spanked him, too much to lose these days. What a fun
cruise night. I met some very cool new people and enjoyed hanging with some good
friends. Looks like we may be challenging the small block circuit for turnout if
we increase a little more.
