Chris' idea for a monthly Saturday night, Circuit Saturday's Big Block Circuit happens each second Saturday of the month. Show up at any time or any place on the map and join in.

Watch for additional routes as they are added to the website. The plan for this idea is to be able to cruise somewhere on any given Saturday night. Come and join us!

There was a very good turnout for the second '09 Circuit Saturday's Big Block route. After some early AM rainy weather, the skies making the weather perfect for a ride in the country.

After the big "Club Challenge" Dyno Competition was over, several GC members & Motor City Forum members joined up at A&A for the evening's scheduled cruise. Even our most powerful car that dynoed 653 horsepower at the earlier event in Pine Grove, Jesse Abdo's '57 Chevy, was on the cruise all evening. The official count added up to 23 cars by the time we hit Moose Trakks. I believe every member who was involved in the route changes was even present for this month's cruise!

The new route schedule is just perfect. There is a real cruising feel to the route through Shenendoah, enough time to get a meal at Danny's Drive in, an early appearance through Mt Carmel, and plenty of ice cream at Moose Trakks in Kulmont. The best part? People were out on the streets cheering and jeering as we went through since times are much earlier. Even the final route stop after Shamokin's circuit saw some other rides and people moving through.

Hopefully the Motor City Forum members come on out and join us again for future cruises. To those who spent the time to hone the original route to it's current state, we appreciate it. Thanks! Enjoy the pics below:
