Chris' idea for a monthly Saturday night, Circuit Saturday's Big Block Circuit happens each second Saturday of the month. Show up at any time or any place on the map and join in.

Watch for additional routes as they are added to the website. The plan for this idea is to be able to cruise somewhere on any given Saturday night. Come and join us!

Circuit Saturday's LAST "Big Block" route of the 2007 year:

Pics from the Big Block Circuit Saturday ---> 10-13-2007

This month's "Big Block" route started out cold, really cold. There must have been another car event happening, because we saw some other cool cars cruisin' through the Pottsville area. Heck one even spotted us in Frackville and came along for the ride. Upon arriving in Frackville, there was a nice Lincoln Continental on a trailer. We think they were returning from Hershey. As we were chatting, Rick wetzel's wife came up with the plan for the next "Small Block" cruise. It is Halloween weekend, so costumes will be appropriate. We all agreed, so dress up for the next, and last, cruise of the year. It'll be fun!
We headed out on the route, as usual, and eventually hit Danny's in Ashland. We had people dropping out along the way to head home. It was just too cold. Some didn't even have heaters! Jim Zerby's kids travelled with a blanket in the back of the '57 to stay warm.

After Danny's almost everyone broke away. Ed Wassell took some of us to the warehouse where he stores his rides. The collection that is there was pretty cool. His boss owns them and most are for sale. The Corvette is just flawless. In the '53 (?) Buick, you can see Dave holding on of the two (gas?) fill neck caps inside the passenger compartment. What would they be used for?!

After we had a tour, I headed home as well. I hope the weather is a bit warmer for the next "Small Block" cruise. See you all at the next "Big Block" cruise. It'll be back after a few months in March, 2008.
